Uto: This goddess, along with Nekhbet (the vulture goddess of Elkab), were thought to be the protectors of the king which was shown as embodied with both the crowns of Lower and Upper Egypt. Uto is depicted as serpent-shaped and is known as the patron goddess of Lower Egypt. Her cult center would be at Buto.
