Why is it so advanced? How is it advanced? I think that it is advanced only when looking at other cultures of the time period.I believe that as said in post above by Sekhmet that they were determined to build these pyramids for there Pharoah. I believe that they used simple machines to build them. The lever and other simple machines.

So you believe that there is no way they could lift the stones used in building the pyramid? But see I think they could , I mean not in one day no , but in years , yes. I mean the human has been making tools for millions of years , I think that if the human wants to build something I think they could make the tool to build it.

So what you are saying is that you believe a culture as advanced as us , helped the Egyptians build their Pyramids? And the Egyptians so advanced from this help still were defeated. I think that if they had or used such a great machine that they could not have ever been defeated.Up in till now of course. What did the Romans have that we today do not?

its too hard for me to explain straight out, i think ill have to wright an article about it, but overall, this is what i think

The ancient egyptians were more advanced than first thought and could not have built the GP with technology that they are currently credited with , based on the size and precision of the pyramids

thats all cool, thats why i love this site because so many of my peers are interacting. i love it that all of these people are helping me. and i have come across something, and i want to ask anyone who will reply, these questions..
Did the Egyptians do most of the work during the annual flood?
If so how long was the duration of that time?
and also how many years did it take the Ancient egyptians to build the pyramid,

Just say that the egyptians did most of the heavy labour over the time span of the annual flood, 4 months, over the time span of 28 years, the time span Khufu was on the throne, 4 times 28 is 112 now we have to divide that by 12, to get the total overal years actualy taken to build the pyramid, (or at least do all of the heavy work) the answer i got was 9.3 years.

Interesting considering that if it was all done over a 28 year period one block would have had to be cut, dresses and laid every 2 mins divide the 2mins(120 sec) by 4, and one stone would have to be cut dressed and laid every 30 sec (that is unless the man who first got the result of 2 mins did take into accout the flood i dont know because i havnt seen his working out, just the result.)

however that would leave 18.6 years to Quarry the stone, does anyone have any idea how long it would take to quarry a peice of stone?

Yes, Tash there are good idea's on how long it took to quarry. However in your determination to hold to your less than traditional beliefs you keep dismissing them. If you really want to know i suggest you revisit the PBS site that both myself and Ankhesenamun3 kindly offered to you. i wouldn't mind reposting them for you here, but i understand if we do the work for you... you don't read it. Good luck.
