They also could've kept the beer underground, where it would be a lot cooler than the surface.

im not sure in any ancient egyptian house plans i have seen they dont usualy contain cellars,

Eh, I don't know. I remember seeing a documentary on how ancient egyptians lived, and something about keeping food in lower parts of the house to keep it fresh. Plus a lot of other ancient civilizations used that as a way of perserving food for short periods.
