I read the first post and visited the site offered through the post. It is really an outdated site to be honest. The site itself dates to 1997. The photograph that is the source of the websites theory on the Martian face dates to 1976. When the Viking Obiter using a low resolution camera took a picture of what appeared to be a face carved into a rock. It was released to the public untouched in the hopes it would fuel public support for future Mars trips. That hope was reached.
Since then NASA has sent two other Martian surveyors 1998 and 2001, to the area with higher resolution cameras. Both show that the "face" is actually a Mesa that has no face at all. The 1998 picture was taken on a wintery day with light cloud cover. That some folks claimed hide the facial components. So, the 2001 picture was taken on a summer day with no cloud cover.
For those interested really great pictures from the 1998 and 2001 flights. They can be found at.

For those of you who doubt the ability of offical government sourses to be truthful doing a websearch using the phrase. "The face on Mars" brings lots of other sites that dispell the notion that Mars has an ancient artifact such as the Face on Mars.
I don't know about others but to introduce such an outdated, unsual topic on an Egyptian board seems inappropriate.
Mankind has the brains, ability, and guts to do all that he has without speical help from aliens who leave so little proof of their existence behind.
