Has anyone noticed there's a new 'Mummy' film coming out? Called 'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor'. I like Jet Lee but I was hoping they would find a way to bring Imhotep back:-)

The new mummy picture isn't about Egyptian mummies. It takes place in China.
Take a good idea and ruin it! A Hollywood creed...

I supposed they had milked the Egyptian connection dry so had to go for a different angle. I didn't see Rachel Wise on the cast list though. Does anyone know if she's in it?

I dunno, I thought it looked pretty cool but at the same time...ohhh this is gonna be interesting. :lol:

I agree with Osiris II about Hollywood, they are continuing with the trend of making good films into sucky sequals. I was actually not surprised when I saw the poster for this movie, either. It was BOUND to happen.

Just a little sad that it isn't Egyptian.

Isn't the whole premise on 'The Mummy' supposed to be Egyptian-based? Trust me, I love Jet Lee movies...but it's the MUMMY! It's gonna be kinda weird to watch it.

Rachel Weisz didnt want to continue with the Mummy. A new actress has taken her place, unfortunately.

In this new Mummy film Jet Li done great job.
It is batter then other Mummy movies.
I also like New Mummy films.

I don't know more about this movie ... But I watched it's last two parts & "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" this is the last part which I watches in 2009... This is really well directed by Rob Cohen...
