Yes, and it's spoiling my enjoyment of the board. I come in thinking there's a new member to welcome and find spam all over the place. That's the problem when you let folks register automatically. On my board I have it set so only Admins can activate accounts. Only yesterday I had one attempt to register but I checked them out and found they were spammers, so I deleted the account instead of activating it.
