Meretseger (Mertseger, Mereseger) "She who loves silence" was the protector of the necropolis at Thebes in Upper Egypt. She was a serpent with a woman's face or a woman with a face of a standing cobra or just a single scorpion with a woman's head like the goddess Selkhet. Sometimes she was a coiled cobra and she stood at post on the high mountain overlooking the royal cemetery and had help from her local colleague Tauret. generally shown as a coiled cobra. Figurines of her were often put into tombs for protection against robbers. She was a judging goddess fair to those who had been good and punishing them who had not. Her name was written with a single letter - a snake.
So, Pharaoh Kel, i guess you're right she was a cobra goddess
