Has anyone read "Akhenaten-- History, Fantasy and Ancient Egypt" by Dominic Montserrat. It basically talks about how the media, novels, history books and EVERYTHING has butchered his image and made up all these stereotypes, it really clears up a few myths. It's amazing!!! I'm not even halfway through it and already I feel enlightened. I'd reccomend it for everyone. Also, it's a great antidote for anyone who's ever read any of those horrible Amarna-period novels.
