I think that mabey all of the Three Suspects may have worked together. I mean they all got something out of it in the end rite? I also think mabey That general Homerab person may have pushed him out of a chariot thing and the horse may have trampled his head and eaither that killed him or the head injurie hurt his spine adn that killed him. People started thinking it was murder about 28 years ago. All the suspects are Aye his Vizier. Aye married Tut's wife when he died. General Horernab, Army officer. He was king after Aye who took the throne when Tut died. Aye only ruled for 4 years. The last suspect is Ankhesenamum. Tut's wife. They say Tut died in 1323 B.C. They also think his parents were Akhenaten=his father. And Kiya=his Mother. Tut was 9 years old when he took the throne. He was 17 or 18 when he died. Ankhesenmamum went missing when Aye died. I know fishy . Tut, Aye and Akhenaten's names all were deleted from the Official list of Pharos. Horernab deleted them when he became pharo. Also since Tut died quickly he was burried in haste. OK.... Forget my first reply... And i am glad i made u laugh ... But any way i still think they all did it together. I mean the three suspects. I mean i know half of them died after the death of Tut any way mabey they just turned on each other or mabey they wernt murdered at all. I mean think about it..... Ankhesenamun may have helped with the info on how to kill him cause she knew lots about him. Aye could have set up time and place then convinced Tut to go where they would kill him. And Horemheb may accually done the killing part. And mabey Ankhesenamun thought it a good idea because she knew she would marry Aye ne way so she would have her place and be rich and all. And Aye just thought it a good idea so he could be pharo. Mabey Horemheb thought it a good idea so he could get rid of those two and have it all to himself. Then the whole killing thing on the other hand.. I think that it WAS NOT the spine thing. I mean why would it wait this long to kill him? I read somewher that if he was hit hard enuf in the head it could hurt his spine enuf to kill him So i think Ankesenamun may have told them about his spine and that it could kill him and stuff. Aye found out a good time and place where no one could disturbe them and Horemheb killed him. I also read that Tut's Dad and brother died rite b4 he became pharo otherwise Tut wouldn't have been pharo at all. I think that is REALLY fishy I mean mabey they killed his dad and bro so that Tut would be pharo and would be easyer to kill. Good imagination! But your idea has everal flaws.
According to the CT scan, a blow to the back of the head did not occur.
Also according to the scan, his spine was in perfect condition--the scoliosis that had been mentioned before was merely a twisting of the spine caused by the emblamers forcing the body into its coffin.
There is NO record of what happen to Ankhsenamun. The theory of a maggiage to Aye is just that--theory. The existence of a ring with the two names does not mean marrige. Perhaps a co-reigncy?
There is evidence of a figure thought to be Aye in Horemheb's tomb. If he was completely divorcing himself from the Amarna Period, why would he do that?
There is no concise agreement on the break. It MAY have occurred before death, it may have been the result of careless embalming, it may have happened when Carter's team removed the body from its coffins--it had to be cut up to get to the precious jewelry on the body.
Until we have more proof (perhaps a papyrus will be discoved that tells all!) we really don't know how or why Tutankhamen was killed.

Osiris, you too have some flaws in your ideas. there was a wound found on his cheek from some object. (perhaps a sharp pointy object?) but there was no other trama to the head and none to the spine before death.

There was no "wound" on the cheek. There WAS evidence of as abrasion, rather as if the skin had been harshly rubbed, to the point of breaking the skin and, perhaps, causing superficial bleeding. But in no way was it serious enough to cause death!

Why do you say That there is NO skull injurie? I mean do you know for sure I seen A X-Ray of his skull but i woulnd't kknow how to look at it neway But i Still think there is a Skull injurie because i only seen one web site that said there is no Skull booboo. Tut's investigator, I feel that Tutankhamen died as the result of a fall from a chariot. What caused that, or the exact curcimstances in it's happening are open to conjector.
The obvious haste in his burial and the kind of rush to embalm him suggests that the body had started to putrify, and that in turn suggests that his death occurred away from the palace. Perhaps on a hunting expedition--maybe on a military action somewhere.
The thing open to conjecture is the missing sternum and part of the rib-cage. Was it damaged in the accident? Was it done to accomodate his body into it's coffin? Did it happen when Carter and his team tore the body apart looking for jewels?
Typically, the heart was returned to the body at burial. I have never heard if the heart was with Tutankhamen. If so, that would suggest that the missing sternum was during embalming.
I did not say that there was no skull injury, only that the death was not caused by a blow to the back of the head, but there does seem to be no evidence of any type of injury to the skull. The much-discussed break in the leg has a 50-50 chance of happening in his life-time or happening whe Carter did his thing--personally, I favor damage by Carter.
The results of the scan show that he was a typical young man--basically quite healthy. The much talked of spinal injury was the result of being crammed into his coffin, and not some disablity in life. The much ballyhoed subject of how big he was--extremes have been suggested, saying his hips measured 40 inches! were just not true.
We have the mummy of a young man, in good health,...who just happens to be dead!
I think that further testing will be done, even though Hawass feels that enough is enough and he should be put back in his tomb and left alone.

I Once said the same. I think it is possible that he fell out of a charriot. But i dont think it was an accident if it did happen. I mean like you said Osiris, We have a perfectly healthy young man and he just happens to be dead. It just says "MURDER" to me.
