No one read a book or seen a TV program they want to comment on?
I looked at another site & though they had a lot of posts there was not much recently so we are not the only ones with nothing to say.

I just received the March/April issue of "Archaeology" and there was a very short, interesting article by Earl Ertmasn, who is the art historian for the Schader discovery, KV63.
In it, his theory is that the famous eyes of Nefertiti, verywell known from the bust of her in the Berlin museum, shows a genetic defect, and not just an artistic expression. He sites as an example a stela that was found in Amarna, in which Akhenaten's eyes are shown conventionally, while Nefertiti's show the "Almond-shaped" eye. He said that if the eye were only an artistic convention, her eye would have been shown normal also, so it shows an attempt at life-like repesentation. He claims that this trait shows a link with Tutankhamen. There is also a relief that shows Meritaten, one of Nefertiti's daughters, with the same oddly-shaped eye.
It was quite an interesting article, but much too short in my opinion!
