Well besides Egypt, I am interested in collecting historic opera recordings on 78s and cylinders, also ephemera (photos, autographs, etc), and books on the Civil War and on the late Russian monarchy.
Regards,

I just finished reading "Pompeii" and really enjoyed it--I get off on historical novels, particularly those of Rome or Egypt. I love horses! Used to own two, but now I just look--I have severe arthritis in my knees, so I can't mount up anymore. |

oh, I have same problems with horses,I've been working to train young horsesto jump, just to pay my own horse and participate to races....
I'm interested in the history of China empire....but I didn't find anything really interesting to read about that...
The Roman Empire left still visible signs in Italy and Europe and it is amazing to study the different situations and the consequences that affect our actual lifestyle..
I didn't have the time to read all the thread, so I apologise if say something completely out of topic... |

Although Egyptology is by far my greatest historical interest, I am also interested in Titanic, World War Two, Adolf Hitler and the Atlantis Myth. Titanic has captured my interest since I was seven years old (Nine years ago) and it still does today. _________________ Once upon a midnight dreary....

I find the whole ancient world interesting. China is my 2nd favorite ancient civ, Greece and Rome tie for 3rd.
I also like the early 1900's, when the world started getting "modern". _________________ The limit of one's craftsmanship cannot be attained. -paraphrase of the sage Ptahotep |

| Ancient Egypt was my first love (so to speak), but I've also had much interest in the ruins/history of the Mayan culture of Central America. Also, I would love to one day see the Taj Mahal, and I've been trying to learn more about Hindu dieties and Indian culture and history and such. |

My main interest is Ancient Egypt. I do like history in general, mainly ancient civilizations. I also like Art History. Nothing can surpass my love of ancient egypt. [/img] _________________ egyptianscribe
