| Tutankhamon.Although many of his ancestors such as Thutmose III and Thutmose IV led interesting lives as well.Sekenra Tao and his sons Ahmose and Kamose sound interesting also Sekenre Tao is thought to have died in battle.Does anyone know if books have been written about this family?Considering the fact that Ahmose is considered today the "founder" of the XVIII Dynasty it seems strange that not more has been written about him or his brother and father.I believe I once read that his mother and Grandmother played a crucial role in politics of the day as well. |

I have 2, but I am not sure if one was an actual Pharaoh. Here is the first one, who was a true Pharaoh.
Amenhotep III - Eighteenth Dynasty, father of Akhenaten. He married Queen Tiy and had scores of children. He is famous for building much of the luxor Temple and also building at Karnak. He also erected the Two Colossi of Memnon outside his funeary complex on the West Bank.
Cleopatra VII - Ptolomaic Queen of Egypt, last ruler of the House of Ptolemy. She married both her brothers as well as links with Julius Caesar and Mark Anthony. She had four children, many of which became kings and a queen in their own right. She is famous for being Egypts last home ruling leader for centuries and as the "siren of the Nile". _________________ Thou dost appear beautiful on the horizon of heaven, oh living Amun, he who was the first to live. |

| Mine is our source from the heaven's from whence we all came. But if we should speak of Anceint Egypt I would have to saw Thutmose I as he reclaimed our land and gave peace back to it's people. |

My most favorite is Ramesses II. He was one of Egypt's greatest pharaohs. _________________

If we can pick non Egyptian rulers then I will choose:
Alexander VI - he was a Spainaird who became Pope in the 1490's. He promoted his bastard children to positions of extreme importance and elevated the Borgia family to one of the most important in Europe.
I love him because he was just so headstrong and confident. He knew what he wanted and was't afraid to get it. He was also one of the EVIL popes, which I find amusing as they should be juxtapositioned but aren't. That is also why I am in love with Innocent VIII (Innocent - Yeah Right!) lol _________________ Thou dost appear beautiful on the horizon of heaven, oh living Amun, he who was the first to live. |
