Actually, in some forms of Chinese Buddhism (which is what I and my family practice) there is the belief that everyone is a "God" type spirit, and that we are human because we got kicked out of "Heaven" because we've transgressed some celestial law. Though bear in mind that there are many varriations on Chinese Buddhism, all depending on the region and such, and I don't know where non-Chinese speaking people would go to find the source of this theory...
In any case, it's more fodder for the ego, no? hehe... _________________ "Pharaoh he was a powerful man, with the ancient world in the palm of his hands, for all intents and purposes he, was Egypt, with a capital E..." |

Oh Piss off. I am really not in the mood for your crap and your arrogant idiotic philosophies dont do well to a mind tired and pissed off immeasureably. I may reply to this ion the mornign or tomorrow once i've had some sleep, but just face it. Your ideas are foolish and dont tie up with any mainstream philosophy, and for your information Chinese Buddhism is the most watered down version of the original idea that is around so i'd hardly call your "theology" a universal doctrine from Buddhism. _________________ Thou dost appear beautiful on the horizon of heaven, oh living Amun, he who was the first to live. |

What the hell is your problem? What is so wrong with my sharing some of my beliefs? And who are you to tell me that my belief's are wrong? So what if it differs from "mainstream", and who are you to judge it? How can you say it's "watered down" when you don't fully understand it? It's a fact that Chinese culture is very misunderstood my non-Chinese, simply because there is no way to translate or explain Chinese concepts to foreign people. You're just to arrogant and pigheaded to try to understand that religions evolves acrross different cultures. How dare you mock me just because I'm a Chinese Buddhist, racist pig. I don't believe for one minute that your as learned in religions as you claim to be. Students of theology are suppose to be OPEN MINDED of the differences in religious philosophies. You have no right to say such things to me or to be angered by my personal beliefs. If people like me do piss you off then you can leave this board. No one wants to talk to someone like you, who'll take any chance to bash another for being different. You're no better than the Nazi's claiming Aryan supremacy.
All I did was give a lighthearted, slightly humorous reply on something which I thought was interesting, and you jump all over me telling me that I'm not worthy of being in a conversation with you? That I'm "foolish" to believe in what I do? That's bullshit, and in fact the other way around, it is you who are not worthy of being in a conversation with the rest of us.
Don't bother writing a reply. I can tell you're just going to bash me some more, call me an idiot/unlearned and whatnot. I also don't care to hear what you have to say anymore, your opinions are no longer important to me. You don't deserve anyone's respect. I don't care whether or not you were "tired" or "needed sleep". You still have no right to say that to me.
If you're going to be that much of an asshole when it comes to religion, then stay away from topics that include religious discussions. Not to point fingers, but you were the one who turned the conversation towards a religious debate by proclaiming how much more you understand reincarnation than the rest of us just because you're "Hindu", which I doubt since I have yet to meet a Hindu (better yet, a fellow human being) that was so disrespectful. Of all the jerks I've met in my life, you rank on the top of my list. _________________ "Pharaoh he was a powerful man, with the ancient world in the palm of his hands, for all intents and purposes he, was Egypt, with a capital E..." |
