| I think Cleopatra is an interesting character in the Egyptian history... people have always considered her a great seductress (this is also the opinion of Antonio Spinosa's book: "Cleopatra"), but some time ago an article on a foreign newspaper spoke about a different portrait of the Queen: according to the writer she was an alchemist and a scientist. So this is what I ask to me and to you: why Cleopatra has always been considered a seductress over the centuries, while the scientific aspect was no longer considered? |

Nefertiti and Nefertari are two different people.
Nefertiti, was the consort of Akhenaten. Her name was changed to Neferfruaten Nefertiti, when she and her husband assumed ATENism.
On a research about the queen's parentage, her father was supposed [hypothesized]to be Ay. Ay's wife is Tiye. And Tiye, was a shortened form of Nefertari. [Tiye, was most likely Nefertiti's step-mother.] |

There are quite a few women in the Amarna period named "Tiye". The one most people think of when they hear the name was the wife of Amenhotep III, mother of Amenhotep IV (Akhenaten).
Nefertiti was not a consort of Akhenaten, but his "Great Wife, first queen of Pharaoh". |

Consort
One who shares the lot of another; a companion; a partner; especially, a wife or husband.
Wife
The lawful consort of a man; a woman who is united to a man in wedlock; a woman who has a husband; a married woman; -- correlative of husband.
A Pharaoh could have as many consorts as he liked, but only one Great Wife. |

Oh my Gog...... you really belive in that?
The true is that Nefertari never love moses... Nefertari love Ramses but that love was only ("brother's love" like in christianity) not love like wife-husband. People don't knew about that... . _________________ Wielbić Boga z całej duszy i serca naszego...

Where did you get such information?
The idea of "brotherly love" between Ramses and Nefertari is unreal, at best. They did have several children. |

Your personal beliefs are just that--personal belief. You cannot base any conclusions concerning facts known about ancient Egypt on those personal beliefs.
I'm sure, from reading your postings, that you firmly believe in reincarnation. I just as firmly do not, but prefer to educate myself and accept proven facts. If you can show me any proof of your belief, I will be glad to change my point of view. |

...I can't prove you that... because this is a feeling and i can't prove you the ancient feeling... this is the ancient queen's feeling and her life. I can't show you her heart, soul, mind and feeling... only her incarnation knew that.. I knew that... . You can only believe me... . _________________ Wielbić Boga z całej duszy i serca naszego...

In theory yes but it didn't always work out that way in practice if you think about it.
I believe Amenhotep III gave the title 'King's Great Wife' to his daughter Sitamun while Tiye still lived. And Bintanath and Meritamun were both promoted to the rank of 'King's Great Wife' while their mothers still lived.
Bintanath was raised to the position of Great Royal wife sometime in the early second decade of her father's reign when Nefertari still lived and there is a depiction somewhere of Khamwaset along with his mother and Bintanath who are both depicted as Great Royal Wife. Of course we know that, while she still lived, Nefertari was always the most important.
Ramses III couldn't seem to work out who his Great Royal Wife was. The place in his tomb where a great royal wife would appear is, I believe, blank although Isis is known to be promnants as well as his daughter Titi who is listed as 'Mistress of the Two Lands' and 'Great Royal Wife' in her tomb. It was a son of Isis who succeeded him.
Cleopatra II and III, mother and daughter, were queens at the same time also. |

| Hmm...I would have to go with Nefertari. I believe she was more liked, and had more of an impact on Egypt. Nefertiti on the other hand wasn't as well liked. Wasn't it her mummy that was found all beaten and bruised...post mortem? |

| Nefertiti's mummy has never been positively identified, although Joanne Fletcher believe it is one of those found in Amenhotep II's tomb. |
