When Tut was Tutankhaten his name meant " Living Image of the Aten". Did it mean anything when he changed it to Tutankhamun? _________________ Yea, Im gonna need you to come in on Sunday... |

I think it meant the same thing. He really didn't do anything other than replace the god in his name. So Tutankhamun would be "living image of Amun". _________________ "Pharaoh he was a powerful man, with the ancient world in the palm of his hands, for all intents and purposes he, was Egypt, with a capital E..." |

Let's not forget the added title to his name of 'heka sw On' , which means 'Ruler of Sothern On (Thebes)'.
So his full changed name was 'Twt-Ankh-Imn, Heka Sw On' which gives us ' The Living Image of Amun, Ruler of Sothern On (Thebes)'.
