How old was King tut when he died?

18 or 19. He died in the year 1343 B.C.E., possibly by murder.

I personally believe that King Tut was around the age of 25 when he died. If he became pharaoh at the age of 9 and only ruled for 16 years do the math, it schould come out to about 25 years!

He became king at ten, and I don't know where you heard that he died at 25, he died at 18 or 19. It's been proven.

i also agree that he died at the age of 18 or 19, he only ruled for 8 or nine years. it is true that it has been proves and where did u hear or read that he had died at the age of 25,mummygirl_101?

I have read that he died at 18-19. But i also got 25-30 from a completely Wacked out site. i Personally beleive it was 18-19 but thats me.

Yeah. Back to the topic, so we don't get in trouble with the mods. King Tut was thought to be murdered. Check King Tut's Wife in Queens of Egypt for a long discussion on this matter. Wink

Yes, King Tutankhamen did die when he was about 18-19. He ruled for 9 or 10 years and started ruling in 1333 B.C.E. at the age of 8 or 9.
