Hi Help Please,
I hope this helps Hatshepsut's beautiful temple was built at Deir el-Bahri an area located not far from the Valley of the Kings. It was designed by Senenmut the architect that Hatshepsut greatly favored during her reign.
She named the temple and grounnds "Djeser Djeseru", this is a hieroglyphic espression meaning, the Splendour of Splendours.
These sites will give you alot more information and pictures

Hatshepsut ruled from 1473 - 1458 if I am not mistaken, so she would have built her temple ~ 3,500 years ago _________________ ~Mary

yes, Mary is right! Hatshepsut started building her Djeser-Djeserw during the seventh year of reign of Tothmes III, when she entitle herself as a King. As she started also acting ang governing as a king, she built the Djeser-Djeserw temple for her self and her father, the great Tothmes I....
