I have a report due soon on king tut. Does anyone know mysteries about king tut?

yep i doin a report on tut 2 and i got a lot of info. howard carter found his tomb in 1922. suspects of who killed him r ay, his wife (ankhsunamun), horernhab or vizier. tut had 3 coffins. 1st was wood covered in a thin layer of shining beaten gold. 2nd hadbeaten gold and decorated with brightly colored glass. 3rd was solid gold. egyptians believed the deasd had ana after life so they gave the rich food drinks and anything he would need in the after life. im in a rush so i cant put wuts in his tumb sry but go to the library and get the book into the mummies tomb by nicholase reeves. i got all my info there!! I was wondering why is everybody asking information on King Tut before they check the kingtutone.com's infos (not on the board, on the site). There are many topics here like "hey, I need information on King Tut" and I think they have a lot of information in this site.

Tut, Tut, children. Sorry, but I'm Tutted Out. Why don't some of you take the road less traveled and write up somebody really interesting like Pepi II who had the longest reign in Egypt's history, or Seqenenre Tao II whose mummy shows the signs of a terrible death in battle? Or Hatshepsut or Sobeknofru? There's really so much more to choose from!!!

As you could guess from my posts, my absolute favourite is Akhenaten, but I like Tut, too. He was a little, childish, but awesome little pharaoh.

Oh!My mind is clearer now! I'm interested in Sobeknoferu, Pepi II and others, too, but we have to say still Tutankhamon is the most famous pharaoh. May we can give the second place to Cleopatra and the third to Rameses II Wink

When I was in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo last year, the most of the people was in the room where are his wonderful necklances, money, etc.
And there was only one-two man in the Amarna room... Crying or Very sad

And then, I first heard about Egypt when I was in the 5th grade (10-11 year old...) but I only remember we learned 'slave-keeping community', 'Nile' and 'Tutankhamon'. No Akhenaten or Pepi, either... Confused

I think all pharaohs are interesting, but only we know who is Sobeknofru... I mean us, who are really care with egyptology.

Tutness, I wait your dancing Akhenaten! Cool
