They had not just dances and festivals as Dark Meryetamun said. But they had music from harps, flutes, double flutes, drums, sistrums, and singers.
From the 4th dynasty on they had Wisdom Texts, Love Poems, Tall Tales, told in writing and in oral story telling.
The noblity had entertainment such as riding in their chariots, fishing and hunting for fun and pleasure.
They had acrobatics, fancy dinners and morality plays.
