Yes. Tutankhamen WAS found in Egypt. His tomb was discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings, across the river from Luxor, which IS in Egypt.

king tut worship one god . not like the other pharaohs , so the army did not fight he and his wife so to busy worshipping one god. i think this is what got he kill, know one knows about his wife. but his daughter married thr next pharaohs. cause the line went down the female side. they would inter breed. like father and daugter. Laughing

Actually, I believe you are speaking of Akhenaten, because Tutankhamen restored worship to all the gods. Akhenaten, however, initiated the worship of only one god and his daughter did marry the next king, Smenkhkare, and another one married the Pharaoh after that, Tutankhamen, Smenkhkare to Meritaten, and Tutankhamen to Ankhensenpaaten.

I've got more info:
Tut was 10 when he ruled, died at 19 or 18. No one knows how. Some think he was murdered, seeing that there was a blow to his head according to an x-ray. Some think Aye, Akhenaten's visier did it, others, Horemheb, the general, and still others think Ankhsunamun did it. (Tut's wife) There is a big disscussion of this matter in Queens of Egypt.

Also, you can go on www.metacrawler.com or www.askjeeves.com (aka www.ask.com) Be careful that you type in a good phrase, or you'll get junk. For instance, if you were looking for Tut's wet nurse, Maya, you wouldn't put Maya, or you'd get the Mayan Indians. You'd put "Tut's wet nurse, Maya." Sorry if you already know that, but I put it there for those who read that might not know.
