I heard the Rosetta Stone cd roms are the best way to learn a language. Since they are expensive, I want to find out If I can study abroad in Egpyt during college, I might get the Arabic one. If not I am getting Italian. _________________ Yea, Im gonna need you to come in on Sunday... |

I had a rosetta stone. Wasn't very impressed with it. I'd rather get a single language cd instead. I was ticked off because I borrowed a Rosetta Stone cd from one of my family members and he said that arabic was on it and it wasn't. I was in a Japanese class so i just used that. I'm tired of Japanese but I'm gonna teach myself what i learned my freshman year. Anyone here speak japanese? _________________

I don't speak Japanese, but I really want to learn. One of my friends knows a little bit that she can have a small conversation, but that's about it. _________________

I am sure it would be hard to learn. The writing would be reallly hard.

Actually, the first year of Japanese is fairly simple. It was the second year that was a bit difficult for me. I probably would have passed it if I hadn't been forced to drop out because we had to move. Right now I'm just doing homeschooling.
I came across a 17.95 "Arabic in Ten Days" CD at the Barnes and Noble website.

I got a set of tapes and a book by a company calle "Hugo" which were quite good. You would be best booking into an evening class though as language isn't something that you can teach yourself that easily. _________________ Thou dost appear beautiful on the horizon of heaven, oh living Amun, he who was the first to live. |

Yea, america is stupid for making the spanish the only second language to increase your wages. They can easily speak english. Plus more hispanics and mexicans come into the U.S illegally. They come to visit then they give birth to their children and BAM they're US citizens. _________________

I studied Spanish over here in England and think yourselves lucky, it is a far nicer language than French or German (which are main second languages taught in Britain). Arabic is an amazing language to listen to, so musical and rich. I love it. _________________ Thou dost appear beautiful on the horizon of heaven, oh living Amun, he who was the first to live. |
