I guess "pharaohess" sounds a little far-fetched... Just call her pharaoh, but refer to her as "she" to avoid confusion
BTW in Ancient Egyptian language there was no word for "queen", as there were also no words for prince, princess, etc. They were called King's Wife, King's Great Royal Wife, and King's Daughter / Mother / Sister etc.
So some royal women could have a large collection of titles |

Pharoah is Pharoah, whether he's male or female.
One thing which I believe is an error .. the website makes a lot of references which imply there were many, or at least, several female Pharoahs.
When I studied ancient history @ university, we were taught that the title pharoah was only used on the Old Kingdom, and that Hatshepsut was the only female pharoah.
Cleopatra, for example, ruled as Queen, the title used in the New Kingdom.
Hope that helps |

Well, maybe this is a more recent discovery, but Kings in Egypt weren't called "Pharaohs" until the reign of Amunhotep III or a little before that, in the 18th Dynasty, the New Kingdom. Pharaoh is the compilation of two words, "Big," and "House." That's what they called the kings, and then they just combined to two words to make one title. _________________ -Akhenaten- |

Which university was it? I don't have a high opinion of American education, don't make it even worse
There were several queen-pharaohs, Hatshepsut ruled for the longest time, but there were also Sobekneferu (last ruler of the Middle Kingdom), Nitocris (okay, more legendary tha historical, but there's also a little bit of truth in legends), Tawosret (late 20th dynasty) and Meryneith who was probably the first woman ruler in the world. |

You mean "Great House," or Per-A'a. The word "Pharaoh" is Hebrew for Per-A'a, which is referring to the palace the Pharaoh lived in. _________________

Ick. I'd hate it if I had Bess. I mean, what's the point of going online, then? Hey, wait a minute. Speaking of Bess...do you think that's why he hasn't been on in a while? Could Bess have blocked KTO? If so, I'm gonna see if I can get a hold of my brother's hacker friends. I bet they can loosen Bess' collar. What do you think? _________________
