BESS blocks that too, because it's a free site. _________________

I've just found out what the hell is Bess. I've never heard of it before and now I'm totally disgusted. I mean, Internet is about FREEDOM and there is freedom of speech in all of the civilized countries, anyone who is against this, is committing a sin. They're blocking sites that are on free servers??? Maybe they don't know that not EVERYBODY is rich enough to pay for a webspace. And really, who has the right to decide what should I read on the net and what is forbidden?
Sorry for being off-topic, but this really made me angry.
I found this solution, I don't know whether it works or not: open the internet properties on your browser and get into the network settings. Under the proxy tab, clear anything under proxy or just turn it off. If you know of an alternative proxy server you should use that insted. |

It's a software originally designed to keep children away from webpages that contain illegal material (porn, racism, hacking, etc.) but also blocks all the pages that are on a free server. Their webpage is at www.bess.net and I'm thinking about writing them an e-mail but I guess it'll be like talking to a brick wall.
Free website providers are responsible for the material placed on their sites, and they don't want to get caught, so usually when I sign up at them, there is a long list of "Terms and conditions" I have to agree and if I break any of the rules they delete my page. Pages on free servers are often more decent than pages on paid servers (where the owner pays so s/he can put up porn, racism, anything). That's why I feel this Bess thing unfair. I could really kick the *** of the person who invented it. |

Thank you for finally telling us what Bess was! I was totally in the dark about it. Now, back on topic... _________________

I'm going to try to Egyptianize some old fables, like this one was. Right now I'm Egyptianizing Goldilocks and the Three Bears, to make

I read a novel about Rhodopis (hope she is the same that you mentioned) in one of Georg Ebers' book.
Anyway, I like writing novels, too, but I'm too lazy to translate into English but if someone here speaks Hungarian, let's go to
http://fanfic.try.hu and look for 'Belldandy' or 'Lady Akhenaten' among the authors - that's me! I write Harry Potter fanfiction stories, too, but there's one called 'Kádes' which is about Ramses II's famous war. _________________ http://belldandy.freeblog.hu --> my blog site |

Now.. I'm trying to figure out what language that is.. I can recognize a couple Latinized roots, but just offhand I would say it's a Russian dialect, or something similar?
I guess it was you that said you were Julia from Slovakia? What you're typing isn't translating in any of the free online translators I can get my hands on. I've also tried Russian, Romanian, Norwegian, and Finnish; none seem to translate even the simplest of base pairs.
In any case, you mentioned that you needed help in both posts. So, Julia from Slovakia, what is it you need help with? _________________ "Does anyone ever truly think 'outside' of the box, or are they merely expanding the possibilities of what that box can hold to suit their own agenda?"

Oh, hola! What brings you to KTO? The hieroglyphs? The culture? The unnerving desire to learned? _________________ "Does anyone ever truly think 'outside' of the box, or are they merely expanding the possibilities of what that box can hold to suit their own agenda?"
