I was wondering are Amenhotep III and the Amenhotep who built the step pyramid related? Or do they just have the same name?

nooo... Amenhotep III lived in the 18th dynasty and pyramid buliding was out of fashion by then... Smile

and the pyramid builder's name was Amenemhet.

I got that got that book from the library the Author is the Egyptologist from the Nefertiti Joan Flecher or somthing like that. It is a really good book. Very Happy

I read half of it awhile back but I hope to read it all now cause I found the book again. Another good book is The Egyptian which is a fiction book. I am reading that now and I really like it. Very Happy

Check out your local library. Those books are EXCELLENT. It makes you feel like you're there.
