Hi there, my name is Jessica and I was wondering if you guys could help me out.
I am doing a monologue for an audition to a performing arts school and I've been wondering if I have the pronouciation of "Cheops" and "Chepren" correct. Would somebody be able to pronouce them for me? I'm going by my first impression and saying "Ch-ee-ops and
"Ch-epren(rhymes with pen)
If any of you could help me out, it would be beyond appreciation
Jessica |

Hello Jessica,
I believe the pronunciations are:
Cheops (kee-ops)
Chephren (kef-fren) _________________

I wonder if this would have been the only time a question asked here was actually needed, rather than a form of shortcut..! ...not that I mean to disavow the validity of the questions asked by others, and I am sure Jessica's performance would have been well off without an accurate pronunciation of a couple dead words, seeing as most view performance, not accuracy (sadly enough)... but in short, I think I may have stumbled into a ramble, so I'll move on… _________________ "Does anyone ever truly think 'outside' of the box, or are they merely expanding the possibilities of what that box can hold to suit their own agenda?"
