Our socity had a good talk on 'celbrations & indulgence from the 3rd intermediate period.
For 200 years there were almost no private statues then in the 22nd dynasty there were loads ( this period is supposed tio be impoverished but how did they afford all the granite statues?)

Apparently 'roaming the marshes ' has erotic connotations.

is a quote from a statue of the priest Nebnetjeru.
