I am in Chiclayo , Northern Peru. I was walking down the street & saw 2 life siozed copies on 1 of tuts coffins - flanking the door of the Memphis casino.
Next day we went to the Shamans market & saw some Patchouli in an Egyptian designed pack - much of the stuff for sale was commercialy made.
A major Peruvian beer -Cristal - uses a sphinx logo but it is not quite an Egyptian sphinx.
