How sure can we be that the Great Pyramid has yielded all its secrets? It's mind-boggling to estimate a building of that scale and yet, how can we say that it has been thoroughly analysed?
Couldn't there be more than meets the eye? A secret passageway here, or a labyrinth that leads to a treasure there... the possibilities are limitless. _________________ Amarna |

Yes...who knows? It's the same with Egypt as a whole. You just never know what's going to be discovered. That's what makes it so exciting. _________________

I have always believed that the Valley of the Kings holds greater surprises than Tut's tomb. Only time, and a bit of luck, will reveal the gorgeous splendours of yore _________________ Amarna |

| Nearly 20 years ago I was on holiday with a geologist & he said that in the valley of the queens he would cut tombs in the area that is now covered in scree. |

I think there are other areas that are beginning to yield statues and whatnot buried beneath the sand isn't there? _________________

well Nefertari1, I'd say what we know of Egypt stems from the one per cent that's above ground. I'm more interested in the other 99 per cent that's hidden in the dark recesses of eternity _________________ Amarna |
