Professor Sakuji Yoshimura of Japan's Waseda University says the excavation will begin in November. They have a camera looking into the pit with a screen tourists can see.
Unfortunatly when they were building the boat museum they put a concret mixer on top of the pit so the air tight seal broke.

I just had some thoughts
- has anyone worked out what it looks like
- where will they put it
- can they preserve it better than the other boat which has shrunk a lot.
