Pyramid of Secrets by Alan Alford - eridu books ISBN 0 9527994 2 1
He points outh that if the burial was in the Kings of Queens chambers it is unique in Egyptian history.
He gives a very detailed description of the pyramid - all the grooves, unusual joining of stones, niches etc plus the 'trial passages' and results of various scans that reveal possible alternate entrances.
He has some unusual and interesting theories with some evidence to back them up. |

One of the reasons they used granite in the 'kings' chamber & why it was built like it was.
He thinks it might have resonated with vibrations from the earth & made a noise.
The reason it is silent now is there was an earthquake - and some of the passages were made by priests checking to see if the damage was repairable.
If you want to know more - I don't want to damage his sales by telling you everything |

What gave him the idea that there was a noise to be heard in the pyramid? Is there some kind of evidence of such a thing taking place, or is it more a leap of faith? _________________ -Indeed, I am alive today; tomorrow is in god's hands-

| It is speculation - as far as I can see it is POSSIBLE and does account for some features. |

Is he the one who believes that the great pyramid was the fist one built? _________________ If you listen very carefully, you can hear the gods are laughing. |

This give a bit of insight into Mr. Alford:
Alan’s aims in life are: firstly, to achieve personal spiritual enlightenment; and secondly, to lay the groundwork for an eventual unification of all the world’s religions.
In the mid-1980s, Alan Alford became intrigued by the ‘ancient astronaut’ theory of Erich von Daniken, and began to devote a significant portion of his spare time to researching the ancient past, visiting the world’s ancient sites, and pondering the eternal questions of who we are and where we come from. As at 2001, he has visited more than twenty-four countries, including Greece, Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, China and Nepal, and he has personally carried out a fifteen-year literature study on the many opposing theories which attempt to explain the riddles of mankind’s mysterious past. |

| I am reading another of his books - slow progress as I read it when I visit my mother & she watches something like coronation street. He thinks most Egyptologists are obsessed with Egypt as a sun cult & ignore other aspects such as creation myths. |
