I firmly believe it is Tut.
Part of the evidence is the mummy itself. That of a young man. Aye was an old man when he died.

What I can't understand is why anyone would think that it isn't Tutankhamun in KV62? What reason is there to doubt it?? Confused

I see no reason to doubt that it was not Tut in KV62. The mummy points to that fact.
