Recently there was the 1st of a series of programs on the British museum on BBC.
One section was on the conservation of nebamuns wall paintings - after nearly 200 years the conservator noticedgold leaf in the eye of the cat in the fowling in the marshes scene. I wonder what was so special about the cat?
They are due back on display in 2008 & seem well worth seeing.
