Hi there,
I'm new to this site which I think is so awesome .I have been studying ancient egypt for now 10 years and I plan on becoming an egyptologist. I know the culture pretty well and I even started up my own egyptian/other cultures group online.Well, I guess where I can begin on a topic is that I'm sooo into ancient egypt especially things dating from prehistory to the middle kingdom but I really like it all. When I went to see the King Tut exhibit in LA and the Hapshetsuit( that might not be spelled right, eh oh well) I love it how I can translate all the ancient writtings, I can read it alphabetically and sentence wise so, I can understand it's meaning, such as, in the tut exhibit it contained artifacts from two princess' , one was a golden coffin which I could translate in a heart beat.I spent well over an hour observing the materials, artifacts and other goodies there while other people would just look at the materials for a split second and then move on..One parent took her kid to see the objects and informed her kid wrong which made me crindged and wanted sooooo badly to correct her but I knew better....but it was so hard not to.Anyways, Did or have anyone else done this by really enjoying these artifacts? |

Ahlan!!!
I saw Tut's artifacts in Cairo's Museum, and they are really marvelous. I couldn't, although, spend all the time I wanted with each one of them, because, as you would know, Cairo's Museum is always full of people, and specially Tutankhamun's rooms. Appart from these famous objects, there are many others which aren't so known by most of the people, and have all of them their captivation, and with them I did spend a lot of time, translating, enjoying their sight...
Kisses,
