i've heard a lot of people talking about their own novels. i'am writting my own i can't really tell you what it's about because i'am sending it to a publisher. but you will all get a chance to read it. if you like the armarna period drama. then you will more than likely like my novel. it revoles around the sun (doe'nt everything all the caracters are made up mainly because no one can say thats wrong or that did not happen.
but do look foward to it.

Me too! I have several on the go but won't get round to finishing any of them for a while. A story about Bintanath and Meritamun, Tiia, amses's sister and another one:-)

Interesting topic...
I to have been looking into writing..... about many thing's. I take many note's; on many different subject's. I do write poetry quite often though; here's one for the board. I hope you enjoy and again, hope it's not to freaky for the year 2006:

April may and June
creator
i left my pony back at the stall,
i ran into the fields
wildflowers in bloom.
i ran and i ran
and i ran,
and i ran,
until i doubled over
out of breath
and just sat
then fell back.

gleefully happy
to see the white fluffy clouds
in a sky so brilliantly blue.
knowing in my heart of heart's
that we are made up; so therefore
come from the same source
as these heavens upon which i now gaze.
along with the flowers and
earth beneath our feet
individual as snowlflakes and leaves
are all of we.
yet,
insignificant
as a grain of sand.
just lost myself temporarily within,
other people's view's.
Silly me
why i thought,
i had been me all along.
no more worries
no more concerns
about who i am.
we are all creator's.
i created me
and you created you
born from perfect seed
creator's are all of we.

I love writing stories set in the Ancient Egypt, too... though its fairly difficult, because it's a completely different era than ours, and I have to search for every tiny information... some of them are quite difficult to find. That's why I show my stories (no, not novels, just short stories about some pages, and only in Hungarian language - I'm still bad at English) to my History teacher, who always corrects my historical mistakes^_^ But it would be neat to write a complete book when I grow up (certainly, it would be a story of Akhenaten ^_^ ) and of course, publish it ^_^
