I set down my notepad a few minutes ago and decided to see what was on the television. Flipping through the channels, I heard the narrator speaking of archaeologists wondering how giant blocks were put in place, while showing a view of the blocks underwater.

Immediately, I thought to myself, "Alexandria!" I decided to stay.

As I continued with the show, I listened to what the narrator had to say, and realized that the archaeologists that the show is revolving around are complete idiots (not the French word, but well.. stupid).

In this show, they actually had the audacity to say that the blocks were not from the collapsed lighthouse of Alexandria, but were blocks lost at sea, or perhaps placed to help barricade against upcoming naval attack.

I am still watching the special, but I have the words "stupid, stupid!" repeating in my mind. I hope they can quell my mistrust.

What are your thoughts on the subject?

Also here in Italy we discuss about the truthfulness of the infos which are given us by tv programmes...And we agree that lots of them are fake! Crying or Very sad
I think that this way of "inform" peple (with mistery and spooky things) is only based on the desire of a larger audience and not by other things... Crying or Very sad So we don't usually "learn" by tv programmes, but we use the infos that we receive by them in order to make a research about them Arrow something good in this bad information! Wink
I wish I had correctly expressed my ideas.
Bye

Chiara Shocked

PS The fact that the archaeologists and egyptologist is very bad...I think they should "protect" the idea of a good intormation for the audience...not the interests connected with money! Evil or Very Mad
