I set down my notepad a few minutes ago and decided to see what was on the television. Flipping through the channels, I heard the narrator speaking of archaeologists wondering how giant blocks were put in place, while showing a view of the blocks underwater.
Immediately, I thought to myself, "Alexandria!" I decided to stay.
As I continued with the show, I listened to what the narrator had to say, and realized that the archaeologists that the show is revolving around are complete idiots (not the French word, but well.. stupid).
In this show, they actually had the audacity to say that the blocks were not from the collapsed lighthouse of Alexandria, but were blocks lost at sea, or perhaps placed to help barricade against upcoming naval attack.
I am still watching the special, but I have the words "stupid, stupid!" repeating in my mind. I hope they can quell my mistrust.
What are your thoughts on the subject? _________________ "Does anyone ever truly think 'outside' of the box, or are they merely expanding the possibilities of what that box can hold to suit their own agenda?"
