I came across this site on a news blog and thought some of you might be interested. There is a a free Hieroglyphic editor and Java library for processing Egyptian Hieroglyphs

Thanks Merytre-Hatshepsut. Psus, ktm_sesh, as well as myself all use JSesh as you can see in all 3 of our signatures. It is a great tool once you learn how to use it but it too has its limitations. _________________

Ahlan!!!
I use both Wingliph and InScribe. They are very useful and have, specially Wingliph, a very wide range of hieroglyphs, which permit you use it when writing Middle Egyptian, but also Neoegyptian.

A wide array of glyphs in Wingliph, eh? I'd hope more than JSesh provides.
..I remember getting a small bit of flack for my old "Unas, slayer and eater of the gods" signature. I couldn't find the correct staff symbol umong the lists and had to settle for a similar one.
..I think it was Neb who kindly pointed it out. _________________ "Does anyone ever truly think 'outside' of the box, or are they merely expanding the possibilities of what that box can hold to suit their own agenda?"
