I have found 2 accounts of someone capturing a Mitanni chariot and ONE horse. Strangely both people were called ahmose (pennekkhbet and son of Ibana).
Does anyone know if the Mitanni used single horse chariots?
I can think of 2 other explanations - the chariots were captured because 1 horse was killed or the word we translate as horse is actullay team of horses.
