Coolgirl it's like what my teacher would say." If you have to be a criminal ,at least be a smart criminal."
You posted practically the same name as your original, and you included the same location. Those are not coincidences.
I just busted you.
This must be how Oracle feels in Birds of Prey. Using knowledge to fight crime is a wonderful thing. |

....Well, ok, I wanna go back to the topic, or this will be locked, however, I just wanted to say--it would be almost impossible and irritating to ban every name with the words "Coolgirl" in them.
Coolgirl, I'm sad to say--but I gotta say it--if you're not gonna talk or share interests on ANCIENT EGYPT--Which is the whole point of this website and Forum--then don't waste time pissing people off and leaving posts that are totally RANDOM. Please, I beg of you, make friends--not enemies. _________________

Aten
Appearance:
A sun disk with rays which end in hands
Aten was a form of the sun god Ra.
During the reign of Akhenaten, the Aten was made the 'king' of the gods. |

Sorry, it's just she's being mean. And I'm just being way too defensive.
So what are your theories? I say it was destroyed by tomb robbers. Or maybe Horemhab hired some people to pose as tomb robbers. You know I'm starting to think that he might of went alittle crazy. Maybe all that time in the sun , leading an army, it could have happened. |

From what I have read Akhenaten's sarcophagus was smashed to little pieces. I think they did find some of his canopic jars still at the royal tomb at Amarna.
In Reeves' book he mentions that Princess Neferneferura may have been buried in tomb29, not in the royal tomb (that had number 26).
This means she survived her father, and there may have been royal burials there after the death of AKhenaten.
But after that there is little to no activity, so that necropolis was for all intent and purpose deserted.
If Akhenaten's funerary equipment did not go to the Valley of the King with the rest of the burials (which seem to have been at least stored in KV55 and some recycled for the burial of Tut), then it would have been in an abandoned tomb. Which means the body would have been destroyed by tomb robbers in no time at all.
I wonder if Reeves may be right and there may be another Amarna cache somewhere? Would be fun if he's still out there somewhere |

| I think we would have an easier time inciating a Kree/Skrull war than finding a second cache. |

Well, time (and the egyptologists) will tell I think.
I don't think it's as unlikely as you make it out to be though.
There are many other mummies from that time missing.
Meritaten, Kiya, Neferneferuaten-Tasherit, Neferneferure, Setepenre.
And egyptologists like N. reeves think it's a possibility from what I understand.
Always possible that the missing mummies were destroyed of course.. |

I hope it will be me ^^
At least, a lot of you voted 'yes, but somewhere else'. I meant Thebes as the Valley of the Kings and Amarna as the royal tombs - what do you meant as 'somewhere else?' I just put it into the poll and I'm really surprised that a lot of people think this.
Any ideas?
Kisses you all
