A human being (Yes, we've all read Oedipus!). Here is why...
- when man is born he crawls (4 legs)
- when he is grown he walks on two.
- when he is old he walks with a cane (three legs) _________________ Thou dost appear beautiful on the horizon of heaven, oh living Amun, he who was the first to live. |

The answer is tongs. And this isn't really on subject is it?
Thanks for the info Nebsy. To be honest I had always had a suspicion that the people of Egypt themselves would have at least been interested in reading the symbols that cover the monunuments littered alongside the Nile. Somehow I don't think that this discovery will send shockwaves through the Egyptological community though. . . _________________

I almost forgot - that's an interesting article, but I thought the language was first figured out by the ancient Egyptians? _________________ "Does anyone ever truly think 'outside' of the box, or are they merely expanding the possibilities of what that box can hold to suit their own agenda?"
