| Hello, Im new, and I hope to become a regular here. I hope this question wasnt asked before, and if it was, I hope you dont mind me asking it again. I am a junior in High School, and I am having the hardest time trying to find college's that offer a course in Egyptology. So far all I have found is Brown and UCLA (I think). Can anyone possibly help me out. I would appreciate it so much! Thank you! |

welcome to KTO! I'm your admistress. Though I don't know much of college courses of Egyptology, I'm sure others do. You've come to the right place! Do stay. We'd love to hear from you. _________________

All these websites are so disparaging and harrowing. They make it sound impossible to become an Egyptologist- it certainly isn't easy. You have to know so much before you start your degree.
That's why I'm learning Hieroglyphs, French, Ancient Greek and Arabic all in advance before I go to University (or should I say, if I go to University!). . . .
I'd love to study Egyptology. . . . . . _________________

Yeah, I know. It's really difficult. But Im too commited to it to just let it not happen. Ive been looking into UCLA, University of Chicago, and Humter the most. And I took french in High School knowing it would be needed. Thank you all so much for helping me out. _________________
