Well, all of us like to think of ourselves as Archaeologists, and I know a few people on here who know about as much as one.

Actually, egyptologist is the correct word for learning about egypt.

If you like to chat about Egypt, you've obviously come to the right site! But anyway, Egyptologists are actually a type of Archaeologists. I doubt that anybody here has worked with a team looking for Egyptian artifacts, so technically (sp?) we're not either of the two. (Unless I am mistaken with my assumption) We fancy each other as Historians interested in a particular culture.

Yeah, that sounds good. When I was little I did actually try to excavate our vegitable garden before we planted anything in it and I found an arrowhead. But we have since moved, so I can't go "Excavating" anymore.
