I'm right in the middle of reading Lynda S. Robinson's "Lord Meren" series, and had to stop to recommend it to the other KTO's.
It's a marvelous series, fiction of course, and Ms. Robinson has really done her research! The main characters--Tutankhamen, Lord Meren and his family, his on again-off again relationship with Lady Bentanta (a wealthy widow), a new perspective of Ankhsenamen (she's angry with Tut for reversing her fathers decrees concerning the gods)--all are very well-written. The characters seem to be real people, not merely people in a book.
I really urge all to read the series. There are only five for now. More is forthcoming, I hope!

I like the books by Paul Doherty, the mask of Ra, the Horus killings and the slayers of seth. They were good books. _________________ Thou dost appear beautiful on the horizon of heaven, oh living Amun, he who was the first to live. |
