On my 2nd trip to Cairo I awakened at midnight in the El Borg Hotel
and I had spent that day at the Step Pyramid. When I woke up there
was a woman in ancient style of dress, shaking her fist at me and
screaming silently at me. I was very frightened and I said "Jesus,
please help me. " She disappeared and I did not go back to sleep.
Next AM I went to the Museum Shop and purchased a small statue of
Hatshepsut, and this comforted me. It seems in another life I had
offended this person and I came back to the place where it happened,
and she wanted to give me a piece of her mind. Ankhsenamon

Very interesting, and at the El Borg, you say? Now if it had been the Cairo Marriott, I would have said your apparition was probably old Mrs. Badawy, the Head Housekeeper. In her last years, until they quietly retired her, she was constantly losing her way and stumbling into patrons rooms...
