I love my strong women as well, they are far more interesting than strong men! Who have you looked at then? I have done:
- Hatchepsut
- Tiy
- Cleopatra VII
- Valeria Messalina
- Lucrezia de Borgia
- Catherine de Medici
- Ilse Koch
- Eva Peron
- Jacqueline duPre (personal goddess of mine)
Look, I even did them in chronological order for you! _________________ Thou dost appear beautiful on the horizon of heaven, oh living Amun, he who was the first to live. |

LMAO, actually I have to say I do love Virginia Woolf! I love her too. i am suprised and a little disappointed in you though, you left out two of your strongest female compatriots! What about poor Lucrezia de Borgia and Catherine de Medici! They were strong, interesting women (pretty evil yes but still!) lol _________________ Thou dost appear beautiful on the horizon of heaven, oh living Amun, he who was the first to live. |

hehe, you should go off on one about "the good old days" when the Medici were killing everyone and the Popes were scattering bastard babies to the four winds! lol _________________ Thou dost appear beautiful on the horizon of heaven, oh living Amun, he who was the first to live. |

I do know quite a bit of Italian history actually, especially of the Renaissance. I love the Florentine History especially and the History of Rome. _________________ Thou dost appear beautiful on the horizon of heaven, oh living Amun, he who was the first to live. |

I have quite a few women of the ancient world that I do admire/respect and Queen Ahmose-Nefertari (of the 18th dynasty) is certainly at the top of the list. Her accomplishments are legendary that she was the first royal woman to receive the title of "Great wife of Amun ". In addition, she was deified and worshiped for more hundreds of years. _________________ I 'm scheduled to travel to Egypt in the summer of 2005 and I'm currently looking for the most affordable packet. i would vote for cleopatra because she was one of the last potolomy rulers and teh only reason seh comitied suicide was because she love a romen officer but he died in battle so thats why she comitted suicide so not looking at the suicide part i think shes a good queen. |
