You know, I look at statues and artwork from ancient Egypt, and when I see how much wear time (and sick people who destroyed things) and I feel sick. I wish that Egypt had survived much longer and I hope someone can time travel and help the ancient Egyptians.

Ya it is. But look how long egypt lasted 1,000s of years. It would be cool to go back in time to Ancient Egypt and talk to them and help them. Very Happy

I agree! I know what I'd do! I'd bring guns and armor and stuff and shoot the Assyrians, and drive them out.

I would be somebody in the Amarna age... not necessarily royal, for they had so short and sad lives, but maybe a noble lady who lives close enough to them. Smile

I'd want to be Meryetamun, or someone who isn't known very well. They must have had better lives than those who were known for being killed or something. But, if I really could be a fiction Egyptian, I'd want to be Mara from Mara Daughter of the Nile. I love that book. Plus, Sheftu sounds like a really cool guy. Too bad there isn't any guys like him anymore. Well, none around my age. Oh, well.

In Egypt there is ancient graffitti dating back thousands of years. In the Valley of the kings there is ancient greek graffitti at least two thousand years old! There is also the graffitti of Romans, copts and arabs as well as all the european travellers since the 1750's. It is not graffitti like spray paint and tags. Most graffitti predates modern Europe, let alone the modern USA!
