This is a link to an artiicle on a very exciting find, recently made in Saqqara. Fifty mummies, dating from the 26th Dynasty to the Ptolemic has been discovered.
One of the Ptolemic burials, in particular, contained a mummy in a very good state of preservation.
Who knows what still waits beneath the sands? Check it out:

Awsome,I wonder who the mummies where in their lifetimes? I know what you mean it is just so cool to know that there are remains of a past culture buried in the sand of Egypt waiting to be found. |
