I know we are getting awful weather also we went to KingsDominian and all the rides were closed for about and 1 hour cause it was thudering. Sad

We're in the midst of "June Gloom" here in Southern California.
"June Gloom" is a marine layer, that doesn't burn off till around 3 in the afternoon--before then, it is kind of cloudy. We have sunshine--it's very light--but no sun!
The good thing about it, though, is that it keeps the temperature down--today's high, for example, was only 68 degrees (F). In fact, it was cool enough to wear a sweater this morning! Kind of cool to go to the beach, though. Here in Long Beach, we live close to the ocean and that keeps it a lot cooler in the middle of summer. The temp. can be 110F inland, and it will be 80F here.

If it ever got to be 110 degrees(F) here people would be having heat strokes left and right. Because when it was around 90 which is not to hot for are summers one person in my class passed out on the bus loop. And another on a field trip. I mean the weather was killer and it was really not that hot. I mean nothing compared to the 110 california might get. Do people drop down in California in the summer?
