To be honest, I don't really believe in re-incarnation. (Call me boring, but I'm with good ol' reliable Christianity. ) But if re-incarnation actually did exist, then I think I'd definately be Egyptian or somewhere else in the middle east... Something about that general area has just drawn me to it. (Which kinda sucks, because you can't go there without a slight risk of having your head blown off..) _________________ *Tadukhipa*

I believe in it and I think I have lived in Egypt because I love the country so much, but I don't remember any Egypt-related lives of mine. |

I agree with Tadukhipa...but even though I don't believe in it, I think I'd be awesome if it did exist. Though, sometimes weird things happen to me that make me want to believe in reincarnation and that stuff...but...I don't. _________________ |\| e F e r t i |< a u r E |

Same here. I don't believe in reincarnation. It seems to me just a way that men try and make themselves immortal. It's just silly to me. Besides, you have like 1 billion people saying they're Hatshepsut, or Atilla the Hun, but they can't all be right, so I don't believe any of 'em. It's nothin personal, just simple logic to me. _________________

Yeah, many people wish that something was 'inhuman' or 'abnormal' or 'mysterious' about themselves, so then they force themselves to believe that they are really that. _________________ |\| e F e r t i |< a u r E |

I guess we don't have to make ourselves immortal, because we are. One of the basic principles of every religion is that our souls are immortal.
I know there might be also ateists here, I just wanted to make it clear that reincarnation theory isn't needed for us to believe that we are immortal, so if the theory still exists, it can mean that it's true. |

Well, I also do not believe in reincarnation, not only because it doesn't make sense, but also because it is against my religion and does not fit with what is said in the Bible. _________________ -Akhenaten- |

that's not what I meant by "immortal." I meant that it's another way for us to believe that we'll stay here in this world forever. When we die, we come back. That's what I meant by immortal. Forever living in this world, not in the next. _________________

I'm an atheist, I don't believe in any religion especially not in Christianity or Islam, but somehow re-incarnation makes sense to me. It's the only religious thing that says something to me. If I lived sometime in the past in Egypt, I don't know. If I did, then I had to be some lower priest in Karnak, maybe a scribe (just from the feeling I had in Karnak Temple). But it's said that little children of 9-10 years old dream of their past lives and I used to dream of Quebec City before seeing it. Yet it doesn't convince me that much... _________________ <i>"Sorry, did I say something wrong? If I lived in ancient Egypt in a past life, I believe I was either a priest, pharaoh, or someone who's life is dedicated primarily to religion. Either that, or a warrior. For I dreamed of the sun-god Amun-Ra and the Battle of Kadesh when I was much younger.
I believe in the ancient Egyptian religion, Kemetic Orthodoxy. _________________

Too bad I can't remember my Egyptian past lives... though I'm sure I lived there!!!
But maybe I should be glad I don't remember cuz I have a feeling my past lives weren't too happy ones... |

Some people say re-incarnation is really just memories you carry on from your ancestors, perhaps that is why there are 1000 Hatshepsut in the world. _________________ Sitamun |

Interesting... It would be cool to be a descendant of an Ancient Egyptian. |
