Does anyone know of any good books about Egyptology and Excavation of the 19th and early 20th Centuries? Like what they thought about Egypt and the methods they used for excavation. I'm just interested in it, so there's no hurry.
Hi again, I read in the Summer issue of KMT that Barbara Mertz was going to publish a book called "Amelia Peabody's Egypt." Does anybody know when that will be published and where I can attain a copy? I would really like to read it, but I lost my KMT magazine and haven't heard anything of the book anywhere else.
I've not heard anything but her book 'Temples, Tombs and Hieroglyphs' was great so i'm going to readthis one aswell. I'll ask my library. They have a list of books due to be published.
