I need some info and pictures of Apophis/Apep from Egyptian mythology. If anyone can give me any pics I'd be really thankful.

He (or it?) was a demon who had the form of a serpent. He was the enemy of Amun-Re and attacked Re's boat every night when it was traveling through the underworld to be born again for the new day, but Re killed him.

(Just a note: It could really be a frightening thought to an Egyptian to imagine at night that 'what if Re cannot kill Apepi tonight and there will be darkness forever?')
